Bhaderwah boasts of its Satwari Airport at Jammu, which is just 210 kilometers away. All major cities including Delhi, Mumbai and Amritsar have direct flights to Jammu and the fares are easy on the pocket. Tourists can hire either cabs or local taxis.
How to reach Bhaderwah by Train
Nearest railhead is Udhampur/Jammu i.e. 145/200 kilometers respectively. Jammu being the oldest among the two has maximum trains whereas Udhampur is getting the newly introduced trains. Some of the trains departing from Udhampur to Delhi are: Himsagar express that touches the farthest station Trivandrum, Andaman express, Uttar Sampark Kranti express etc.

The 205 kilometer journey is broken in four parts. One can either reach directly to Bhaderwah or take stoppages in between as follows:
- Jammu to Udhampur – 65 kms or Jammu to Udhampur (By train) – 50 kms
- Udhampur to Batote – 55 km
- Batote – Pul Doda – 50 kms
- Pul Doda – Bhaderwah – 30 kms
