The passenger ropeway project at the Vaishno Devi shrine is likely to start on December 25. With the start of the ropeway, pilgrims will be able to pay obeisance at Bhaironji Temple, which is difficult to visit, particularly for the elderly and specially abled pilgrims.
The ropeway to the cave shrine in the Trikuta hills of Reasi district is ready for commissioning.
Simrandeep Singh chief executive officer of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, said the ropeway likely to start functioning from December 25
